Palm Kernel Oil
The principal plant named Elaeis guineensis Jacq. (Arecaceae) or Palm Oil tree. The origin is located in the tropics of Africa and Angola. These days the cultivations are widespread all over the tropics in the world. The Main cultivations are in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Two different oils will be prepared out of the fruits from the palm oil tree:
- Palm Oil (see there)
- Palm Kernel Oil
Out of the production of Palm Oil the Kernel or nuts from the Palm Oil fruits will be cleaned. To avoid the forming of mould, the content of the humidity in the nuts are dried down to a certain percentage. Finally the nuts will be pressed in vices to produce the Palm Kernel Oil, which will be processed to further qualities.
